Tsujimoto mentioned the decision came after carefully considering what fans wanted. He said:
Monster Hunter Rise is built on the RE engine that powered Devil May Cry 5 and the Resident Evil 2 remake. Whether the Rise PC port includes enhanced graphics or at least additional options isn’t certain.
Tsujimoto declined IGN’s requests for more information, saying the Rise PC port is still under development.
This marks the second Monster Hunter game to see a release on desktop, following Monster Hunter: World and the Iceborne expansion’s PC ports.
